English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is the national body responsible for developing sport for disabled people in England. We work closely with key partners to develop sporting opportunities for the 11 million disabled people in England.

A new website aimed at encouraging disabled people to take up golf has been launched by the English Golf Union. The aim of the new site is to support all individuals across a wide range of disabilities who would like to try golf, and to create a stronger network for existing players and disability groups who want to improve their sports offering to members.

› Iran and China lift World Sitting Volleyball Championships
World sitting volleyball championships

Reigning Paralympic Champions Iran claimed victory in the men’s competition at the World Sitting Volleyball Championships at the University of Central Oklahoma with a five sets victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina while China won the women’s gold after defeating hosts United States in the final.

CP Sport will be hosting five Grand Prix competitions during 2010. The winning athletes will be presented with their respective prizes during the CP National Championships on Saturday 18th September at Harvey Hadden Stadium, Nottingham.
