Triathlon launches bid to be included in Rio Paralympics

Triathlon could make its debut in the Paralympics at the Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The International Triathlon Union (ITU) has opened negotiations with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) for the sport to be added to the programme for six categories across the various disabilities. We work with the National Disability Sports Organisations, National Governing Bodies of Sport and the four Regional County Sports Partnerships to drive forward the development of Disability Sport.

CP Sport will be hosting five Grand Prix competitions during 2010. The winning athletes will be presented with their respective prizes during the CP National Championships on Saturday 18th September at Harvey Hadden Stadium, Nottingham.
