Badminton England announce first partner of Para-Badminton World Championships

Badminton England has announced YONEX as the first Partner of the BWF Para-Badminton World Championships 2015.

The Championships will be hosted in England for the first time from 8-13 September at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic movement.

Badminton England also recently agreed a multi-year deal with YONEX to be the Official Equipment Partner for the English National Championships Series and National Badminton League (NBL).

Badminton England’s Chief Executive, Adrian Christy, said:

“I am delighted that we have been able to extend our relationship with YONEX to become the Official Sports Equipment partner for the prestigious BWF Para-Badminton World Championships being held in England later this year.

“It is particularly exciting given that this is the first Para-Badminton World Championships to be held since the news that badminton will be part of the Paralympic programme from Tokyo 2020."

Para-Badminton World Championships are hosted every two years. More information can be found on the Badminton England website.
