British Weightlifting search for new talented disabled power lifters

British Weightlifting is searching for the next generation of Paralympic powerlifting champions!

British Weight Lifting is currently running a  Powerlifting Talent Campaign. The aim of BWL Talent Campaign is to identify individuals who posses outstanding raw talent and with elite coaching and specialist support, could be capable of reaching the top of the podium at the 2016 Paralympics games in Brazil.

If you are aged 18 - 35, hold a UK passport, can bench press more than your own body weight and have a desire to compete for Great Britain on the world stage then contact us on the details below.

Potential athletes or their coaches fill in an online screening form, which is then assessed by the performance team. If the athlete possess the necessary potential they will be invited to an assessment event. The talent assessment event is an opportunity to test out their physical prowess and accompanying hunger to succeed under the guidance of GB coaches and Performance support team.

Every athlete who applies for the campaign will be guided to a Paralympic Powerlifting club.
