England’s bowlers picked up early wickets to leave the visitors in a perilous position at 55-5. Tayler Young (pictured above) (3-12) was again amongst the wickets with able support from Dan Bowser (3-18) who picked up the key scalp of the Aussie skipper Gavan Hicks for 39.

Boyd Duffield mounted a vital fightback as his 66* enabled his team to post 170/8 from their 40 overs.

England lost wickets regularly in their reply and looked in trouble at 129-7 with just over 10 overs to go. Brett Wilson was the chief destroyer for Australia picking up 3-18 including the in-form Dan Bowser for just five.

Jack Perry (25*) and Tayler Young (21*) rode to the rescue with a partnership of 46 to see the hosts home to a three wicket victory.

Australia will take on South Africa tomorrow with the winners earning the right to face England in the 40 over final on Monday.
