New Video - EFDS Celebrating World Children’s Day

Today is World Children’s Day and this year’s theme is #KidsTakeOver. The United Nations' (UN) Universal Children's Day, established in 1954, is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide. The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is marking it with comments from disabled children if they took over sport for a year.

UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, promotes and coordinates this special day, which also works towards improving children's welfare. You will see children across the globe ‘take over’ high-visibility roles in media, politics, business, sport and entertainment.

They will shine a light on the most pressing challenges faced by their generation. In celebration EFDS has asked a number of disabled children who love being active what they would do if they ruled sports for a year.
