New video: EFDS Celebrates Winter Sports

Today, the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) celebrates winter sports to mark the start of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympic Games. EFDS caught up with skiers Angie Hamilton and Josh Lloyd at one of Disability Snow Sport UK’s inclusive skiing session to hear about their love for skiing and get their take on the Games.

Angie in her mono-ski, with her husband, Alan, behind her, smiling to camera.

Angie:

“I’ll definitely be watching the Winter Paralympics. My friend, Angie Malone, will be there; she is a curler so I’ll be watching her. I’ll be watching the skiing too, I just love all of it.”

Josh smiling to camera with his skiing gear on at the bottom of the slopes at Manchester's Chill Factore.

Josh:

“I’m looking forward to the Winter Paralympics, if it’s anything like the recent Winter Olympic Games then we’re in with a shout of a few medals.”
