James Middlebrook announced as new Northants Disability Cricket Ambassador

Northants Disability Cricket is proud to announce that James Middlebrook will be the new Disability Cricket Ambassador from November 2013.

James will be taking over from Lee Daggett, who has held the position for the last 3 years. Lee will be moving on to pastures new, as a physiotherapist for Northampton Saints Rugby Club. Lee has devoted many hours of his personal time over the last three years, to help coach the young disabled players and has delivered sound professional advice to the members of the NCCC Disability squad.

Northants Disability Head Coach Andy Hill said:

"I'm delighted James has agreed to become the latest ambassador. He devotes a lot of time for the disabled community of Northampton and works extremely closely with the Cube Disability centre in his own time, which is another reason I approached James with this opportunity."

But Andy was quick to praise his predecessor, adding:

"On the other hand, I'm sad to see Lee go as he was fantastic for the club and always offered to help with the Disability squad and junior disabled drop in sessions. Lee had a brilliant way of engaging with the players and parents. I can't thank him enough for all the help and support he has given me over the last 3 years and I wish him all the very best in his new role."
