LimbPower releases top tips factsheet for coaches

LimbPower, in partnership with Sports Coach UK, has released a tip tops factsheet for coaches who work with and support amputees and people with limb impairments to be active.

Compiled by Sports Coach UK, with expert support and guidance from LimbPower - National Disability Sports Organisation (NDSO) for amputees and people with limb impairments. The factsheet is designed to raise awareness of coaching people with specific impairments.

The information provided is as guidance only, allowing you to be more informed in your approach to being a more inclusive coach.

Coaching people from all backgrounds with different abilities is part and parcel of being a coach, but remember no two people are the same. So make sure that your first step is always to speak to the person, to understand their abilities and goals, and never assume.
