Researchers at Public Health England are conducting the first ever national survey of the health and wellbeing of individuals working in the sports, leisure and fitness sector.

This confidential survey will help to provide a national picture of health issues like smoking, diet and inactivity among staff working in the sports, leisure and fitness sector as well as asking about experiences of line management and support for professional development in the sector.

The researchers are keen to hear from people working at every level in the sector including personal trainers, estates and facility staff, receptionists and administrators and managers.

The findings of the survey will be published in the Spring of 2017 and will be used to support employers in the sector taking action to improve conditions and support for staff health and wellbeing.

The survey closes on 14th September.

Whether you work full time, part time or freelance in the sector, whether you’re a coach or a cleaner, please follow this link to participate and help inform this work: Public Health England survey
