Sport Cheshire seeks local disabled people for insight survey

As part of the Cheshire and Warrington Count Me In Strategy, Sport Cheshire and Partners is looking to find out more about disabled people in their area. They would like more insight on the sport and physical activities people with impairments currently take part in or might like to do more of. A survey has been created to capture more information and they are now seeking local disabled people to fill it out.

Sport Cheshire facilitate the co-ordination of a local network of agencies and organisations committed to working together to increase participation in sport and physical activity. Since 1989, Sport Cheshire has been a charity with a simple vision. They want more people in Cheshire and Warrington to be more active, more often.

A recent survey revealed that over 59% of people who live in the region exercise for less than 30 minutes each month. Their aim is to reduce this figure significantly in order to the spread the health benefits and sheer enjoyment that physical activity and sport can bring.

This new survey for disabled people should only take around five minutes. The County Sports Partnership's (CSP) aim is to encourage more inclusive sporting opportunities within Cheshire and Warrington.
