Activity Alliance survey to improve SEND support

What type of support would help you to make PE and school sport more inclusive for disabled pupils and those with special educational needs (SEND)? Activity Alliance want to hear from teachers, teaching assistants and support staff across all school key stages.

We have launched an online survey as part of the Youth Sport Trust Inclusion 2024 programme. The survey aims to help us understand how to better support teachers. This survey will provide insight on how to support teachers to engage young disabled people, and those with special educational needs, in PE and school sport.

The survey is open until 30 November 2023 and is anonymous. It will take just five minutes to complete. You do not have to have been part of the Inclusion 2024 programme to take part.

Complete the online survey here.

Your responses will provide essential insight to further grow our Inclusive Education Hub and training offers to support inclusive PE and School Sport delivery.

Please encourage your colleagues and staff at the other colleges and schools you work with to complete the survey.

The Inclusion 2024 programme aims to improve and increase opportunities for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to take part in physical education and school sport. The project is funded by the Department of Education and led by the Youth Sport Trust on behalf of organisations including Activity Alliance, the British Paralympic Association, nasen and Swim England.
