The Inspiring Communicator Awards (ICAs) celebrate those whose services to charity communications truly go above and beyond. They highlight people who particularly demonstrate spirit, insight, skills, and, above all, are inspirational in their use of communications for a cause or charity.

Stacey has been shortlisted for the ‘Inclusive Comms’ award. This is handed out to commend the champions of equality, diversity and inclusivity in the sector’s communications.

After receiving the news Stacey said:

"I was mid workout when I opened the email, and I honestly couldn’t stop smiling! My family, friends and colleagues are thrilled for me which is an amazing feeling. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had through Activity Alliance and the Get Out Get Active (GOGA) programme. It’s a pleasure to support and advise people and organisations across the UK about inclusive and accessible communications.
"I love inclusive communications and am grateful to learn about how to be more accessible and inclusive. The world of inclusive communications is forever evolving, and I believe new technology and research will continue to help tackle the inequalities. And as a communications professional I find this really exciting.
"I can’t wait for the Inclusive Communicator Award’s event where I’ll be in a room filled with so many talented people!"

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 28 February 2024.
