The National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) are a good starting point for many deaf and disabled people who want to be more active. They provide advice, support, and opportunities for people of all ages with specific impairments to take part in sport and activity.

UKDS delivers See My Voice Parasports Festival Day in Birmingham 
On 19 August, UK Deaf Sport, British Blind Sport and Sport Birmingham delivered a See My Voice Parasports Festival Day for young disabled people as part of the Commonwealth Games legacy.

LimbPower – 30 August 2022

LimbPower joins the movement on National Fitness Day 
National Fitness Day 2022 will take place on Wednesday 21st September and is a chance to highlight the crucial role physical activity plays in the rehabilitation of amputees and individuals with limb difference.

WheelPower – 23 August 2022

The WheelPower Inter Spinal Unit Games return for 2022 
WheelPower are delighted that the Inter Spinal Unit Games will be returning for the first time since 2019. Supporting more than 100 newly injured patients, from 15 spinal units across the country, with the opportunities to try 16 sports during a full week of action at the birthplace of the Paralympics, Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

365 Days until the 2023 IBSA World Games 
The countdown begins for the 2023 IBSA World Games in Birmingham – the largest international sporting event for blind and partially sighted athletes.

Hetty Bartlett finished an incredible sixth in the T37/38 final at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, in front of 33,000 people. CP Sport caught up with Hetty to chat about her amazing opportunity to represent Team England at the Games.

Dwarf Sports Association UK – 9 August 2022

First DSA UK badminton and 5-a-side tournament is a great success 
In early August DSA UK hosted their first ever 5-a-side football and badminton competition at the Institute of Sport in Sheffield. Lots of DSA members took part including some new members. It was a great weekend of sporting competition for all.
